Relay.
Wireless dry-contact relay with a separate 7–24 V DC supply

Connect automation through dry contacts.
Relay Jeweller provides dry-contact switching for compatible equipment, controlled through the Ajax system. It can form part of a configured response or everyday automation routine. The installer checks the connected circuit, supply and switching requirements to give the output the intended function.

Control a circuit with dry contacts.

An isolated control contact
Relay uses a separate 7–24 V DC supply and one potential-free contact pair. The contacts are electrically isolated from that supply, so the controlled circuit can be low-voltage DC or mains AC within the specified ratings.
The relay switches a circuit; it does not power the connected appliance. Keep the supply voltage and the contact load rating separate.
Set the action that fits the appliance.
Pulse or bistable operation
Bistable mode keeps the selected contact state until the next command. Pulse mode changes it for the configured time, then returns. Choose normally open or normally closed behaviour in the app.
Pulse duration is 0.5–255 seconds in the current exact specifications and manual. Older overview text shows 1–255 seconds.
Match the load before making the connection.
AC and DC contact ratings
The exact specifications rate resistive loads up to 5 A at 24 V DC or 13 A at 110–230 V AC. For inductive or capacitive loads, the stated limits are 3 A at 24 V DC and 8 A at 110–230 V AC.
Do not confuse the separate 7–24 V DC supply with the voltage switched by the dry contacts. Use a qualified installer for the connected circuit.
Turn a command into a useful routine.

Respond to a leak
A configured leak scenario can operate a compatible electrically controlled shutoff valve.
The detector, valve and their power supplies are separate parts of the installation.
Define the trigger and the return state.
A configured action, with a tested outcome
Choose the trigger, contact state and operating mode around the connected equipment. Test each scenario on the installed system, including what happens if power or the hub connection is lost.
A device that is offline misses its scenario trigger. A missed scheduled action does not automatically run when power returns. Humidity and CO₂ scenarios require LifeQuality; other triggers need their corresponding system devices.
A supervised connection to your system.
Jeweller two-way radio
Jeweller carries device events, alarms and commands using encryption, device authentication, frequency hopping and automatic power adjustment.
Use a compatible hub and the matching regional radio version. Walls, metal and the final installation position affect reception; test the link on site. Alarm delivery and connection-loss reporting are different timings.
Know when the device needs attention.
Electrical and temperature protection
Relay supervises its supply voltage and temperature. Protection can open the contacts when the supply or device temperature is outside the allowed conditions.
The specified supply-voltage protection thresholds are 6.5 and 36.5 V DC; they are not the operating supply range. Use the specified 7–24 V DC supply.
A supervised radio link
Regular polling checks the connection to a compatible hub or range extender. The system can report a missing device and identify its assigned room.
Up to 1,000 m in open space. Connection-loss reporting depends on polling settings; the 36-second example is not a fixed alarm-delivery time. PRO Desktop receives device events; conventional CMS forwarding is limited as described in the manual.
Fit, connect and test.

A compact module for the installation
The 39 × 33 × 18 mm module fits a suitable junction box or equipment enclosure. Scan its QR code to add it to the compatible hub, assign its name and room, then test reception and the intended load response.
IP20; specified operation is −10 to +64 °C. Outdoor installation requires a suitable hermetically sealed enclosure, with environmental and radio conditions checked.
Give the relay its own place on the rail.

DIN Holder is available separately
The matching holder fixes Relay or WallSwitch to a standard 35 mm DIN rail. Its front button operates the relay’s function button, while the included labels identify the controlled circuit.
The holder adds a mounting method, not new electrical ratings. Allow access, ventilation and suitable clearances.
