MAKE IT YOURS
MotionCam HDR.
A motion alarm arrives with photographs of what triggered it.

Standards and certifications
MotionCam Jeweller · MC.Y.J. Manufacturer-listed marks; regional and installation conditions apply.
An alarm you can understand.
MotionCam HDR Jeweller pairs motion detection with a photo series when an alarm occurs. The images help you check what happened in the room and decide how to respond. Working with a compatible Ajax hub, it brings detection and visual verification together in one device, with infrared illumination for photographs in darkness.

Hassle-free installation
- 1With default settings (photo resolution is 320 × 240 px).
- 2The HDR image feature is available for devices with the 15.59.35.14 firmware version or later. Сontact your Ajax Systems manager, supplier, or authorized partner to check the availability in your region.
- 3In an open space. Range is measured in open space; walls and installation conditions reduce it.

Loading detail…
An alarm with visual context.
MotionCam supplies event photographs, rather than a continuous live video feed.

When the armed detector confirms movement, it sends an alarm and a series of still photographs. The images help the user or monitoring operator assess what triggered the event.
At 320 × 240 px, first-photo delivery is specified at up to 9 seconds with the manufacturer’s hub and Wings signal conditions. Higher resolution and range-extender routing can take longer.
Detail in bright and dark areas.

HDR and infrared illumination
HDR combines different exposures to retain information in shadows and brightly lit areas. Infrared illumination supports photos when the room is dark.
HDR requires firmware 15.59.35.14 or later on a supported device. Confirm availability for the supplied revision and region; the feature is not promised for every older MotionCam.
Photographs when an alarm needs explaining.

An event record
Alarm photos are associated with the device and event in the Ajax app. Access is controlled by the system’s permissions.

No remote photo requests
This model takes photos by alarm. Choose MotionCam (PhOD) if you need supported photos on demand, by scenario or by schedule.

Protected transfer and storage
Photos are encrypted during transfer and storage. Give viewing access only to the people and monitoring services that need it.
How movement becomes an alarm.
Indoor motion detection reaches up to 12 m. Confirm coverage with a detection-zone test after installation.

Infrared sensing
The PIR sensor responds to changes in thermal radiation as a person crosses the detection area. Correct placement and a clear view are essential for reliable detection.
Battery power, monitored in the app.

Two replaceable CR123A batteries
The preinstalled batteries let the detector operate without a mains supply cable. The app reports battery state and warns when replacement is needed.
Operating life varies with device revision, settings, temperature, alarms, photo use and radio conditions. Follow the manual for the supplied device.
A secure link to your system.
Jeweller and Wings
Jeweller carries alarm events, commands and device status; Wings transports photographs. Both links need a compatible hub or photo-capable range extender.
Up to 1,700 m in open space. Check signal strength at the actual mounting point: walls, metal and other obstacles reduce usable range.
Extend photo verification to more rooms.

Coverage through difficult buildings
A compatible ReX 2 can extend the detector’s radio coverage and carry photo verification. Where supported, its Ethernet connection gives the extender another route to the hub.
ReX 2 is optional. Check hub compatibility and supported extender quantity; an extender without Wings support cannot transport this detector’s photos.
Know when your device needs attention.

State and maintenance alerts
The detector sends its condition to the hub. Battery, tamper and communication states help identify a device that needs attention, while its room and name make notifications easier to interpret.
Connection-loss timing depends on configured polling. Professional monitoring is a separate service.
Protection that also watches itself.

Removal alerts
The tamper reports attempts to detach the detector from its mounting panel. Secure the panel correctly and test the event after installation.

Protected information
Encryption helps protect stored and transmitted system data. Manage access to the system and its notifications through the Ajax app permissions.

Device authentication
During communication, the hub checks the detector’s identity. This helps reject commands from a device pretending to be the registered detector.

A supervised connection
Regular exchanges with the hub reveal a missing device or communication fault. The configured polling interval determines how quickly connection loss is reported.
Install it for the place it protects.

Pair
Scan the device QR code in the Ajax app, then give it a clear name and assign its room. Check compatibility and the radio-frequency region before pairing.
