Superior LineSupply Fibra.
Module providing additional power supply for Fibra devices

Standards and certifications
Superior LineSupply (75 W) Fibra · LSU.75.F. Manufacturer-listed marks; regional and installation conditions apply.
Bring power closer to the devices that need it.
Superior LineSupply Fibra adds a separate power source to an Ajax wired installation so distant devices do not depend on the hub’s power budget. The 45 W version supplies one output; the 75 W version supplies two. Each output provides up to 30 W for devices, with a separate charging budget for a backup battery. Choose the version around the cable routes, load and standby requirements of the installation.

Choose the number of powered routes.
45 W · one 30 W output
One outgoing Fibra line receives up to 30 W for devices. A separate 15 W budget is reserved for charging the backup battery.
The 45 W total is not a 45 W device output.
One supervised wired connection.
Fibra communication
The four-wire connection carries data between the module and a compatible Ajax hub. Two-way communication, encryption with a dynamic key and device authentication help protect this connection. The module remains part of the hub’s system; it is not a standalone control panel.
Use the current compatibility list and supported firmware. The host’s device capacity and the line power budget still apply.
Power the line independently of the hub.

A local supply for a distant load
The module runs from 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Its isolated output supply does not consume the hub’s line power budget. The hub is still needed for Fibra communication and system control.
Mains connection and servicing require a qualified installer. The output load must stay within the selected module’s limits.
Plan standby around the actual load.
A separate 12 V backup battery
Use a supported 12 V DC battery with capacity from 7 to 17 Ah, purchased separately. LineSupply charges it while mains power is available and can power its output lines during an outage.
The current exact specifications for both versions state 7–17 Ah. Check physical fit in the selected Case as well as electrical compatibility.
A runtime example needs its conditions
Ajax’s 60-hour standby example with a 17 Ah battery assumes a connected load of 0.27 A. A heavily loaded output has a shorter standby time; calculate the installation rather than applying that example to every system.
The specifications allow up to 24 hours to recharge 80% of maximum battery capacity. The module and its separately powered upstream equipment each need an appropriate backup plan.
Extend the route in powered segments.
Up to 2,000 m for each segment
With the specified copper cable, a LineSupply can support a new Fibra segment up to 2,000 m long. Up to 10 modules in sequence can extend the overall route to up to 22 km, including the initial segment from the hub.
Use U/UTP cat.5 4 × 2 × 0.51 mm (24 AWG) copper cable. Cable conditions, device loads and power calculations determine the achievable distance. Outputs do not support Ring topology; the hub’s device limit still applies.
Different sites. The same planning discipline.

Factory
Plan separate powered segments around distant production areas, checking the devices and load on every segment.
Isolate an output fault and report it.

Short-circuit and overvoltage protection
If an output short circuit or overvoltage is detected, LineSupply switches off the affected line and attempts to restore its power every 12 seconds. Once the fault is removed, normal operation can resume.
Have the installer investigate recurring faults. This output-retry behaviour does not describe LineProtect’s fuse-based response to a severe attack.

Power and line status in the app
Notifications identify power problems and affected outputs. The installer can also configure output behaviour when power disappears on the incoming Fibra line.
On the 75 W model, check the status and load of each output separately.
Choose the enclosure with the battery.

Case C (260) or Case D (430)
Both LineSupply versions fit supported arrangements in Case C (260) or Case D (430), purchased separately. Case C accommodates a battery up to 7 Ah; use a supported Case D layout for larger batteries within the module’s electrical rating.
Included with LineSupply: module, power-supply cable, battery connection cable, two terminal adapters and quick start guide. Battery and Case are separate purchases.
Add, configure and test in Ajax PRO.

Find the installed module
Scan the hub’s Fibra lines or add the module by its QR code. Assign a name, room and security group so an event identifies the affected part of the site.
