A new system around suitable existing wiring.
MultiTransmitter Jeweller brings eighteen wired zones into an Ajax system, with names, rooms and meaningful notifications for connected devices. Mains power, shared detector power outputs and a separately selected backup battery support a complete installation. Supervised wiring options depend on the exact hardware and hub, allowing an installer to plan the upgrade around the circuits already in place.

Keep suitable wiring. Modernise its reporting.

Control the combined system in Ajax apps
MultiTransmitter brings existing wired devices into an Ajax system through eighteen input zones. Users receive named events, while professionals can configure the system on site or remotely.
Each old detector still needs a compatible signal, sound wiring and the correct power supply. The module does not repair or modernise the sensing element itself.
Match each wired zone to its task.

Different devices, meaningful events
Compatible motion sensors, opening contacts, panic buttons, gas or water sensors and other devices can report through the module. Assign the appropriate event type and room for each zone.
Multiple contacts on a shared zone are reported as that zone. The connected load, wiring scheme and hub capacity determine the complete installation.
Read alarm, tamper and fault separately.
NC, NO and supervised EOL circuits
Supported hardware accepts NC, NO, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL wiring. Supervised circuits let the system distinguish states such as an alarm, tamper, a cut cable or short circuit, according to the connection used.
2EOL/3EOL requires module firmware 2.13.0 or later and a compatible hub with OS Malevich 2.13 or later. Hub (4G) requires 2.28; Hub (2G) does not support 2EOL/3EOL. Older module hardware cannot gain these functions through a firmware upgrade.
Measure the installed circuit
On the newer hardware, each EOL resistor can be 1–15 kΩ, with total resistance up to 30 kΩ. The PRO app helps measure the circuit and configure its states.
Use the limits for the actual hardware revision; older units have different resistor ranges. Up to 400 m is specified with a 0.22 mm² copper-clad aluminium signal conductor. Cable resistance and power drop still require checking.
Know which zone needs attention.

Names, rooms and event types
Configure a descriptive name and room for every input. Notifications and monitoring codes can then explain both the event and where it came from.
Fifteen event types are listed for the current model. Features depend on the selected zone mode and compatible hub software.
Use a verified input to trigger a response.

Configured system actions
An alarm from a connected device can trigger an agreed Ajax automation scenario, such as switching a light. Scheduling and compatible KeyArm input settings can also form part of the system.
MultiTransmitter itself has no control relay output. Any switching action needs a separate compatible automation device and a tested scenario.
Size power and backup for the whole installation.
Mains input and shared device power
The module operates from 100–240 V AC. It supplies connected devices at 10.5–15 V DC through three lines, with a combined maximum load of 1 A.
The fire-detector line supports the documented power-reset procedure. Use only the supported detector connection and check the complete current budget.
A separately selected 12 V battery
A compatible battery up to 7 Ah can maintain the module and attached devices after mains loss. It is not included.
For a 7 Ah battery, the specification gives at least seven hours at a 1 A load. For twelve or twenty-four hours, the maximum load is 0.55 A or 0.28 A respectively. Calculate the required duration for the complete connected load.
A secure link to your system.
Jeweller communication
Encrypted two-way communication carries commands, alarms and device status between the device and its compatible Ajax hub or assigned range extender.
Up to 2,000 m in open space. Walls, metal and other obstacles reduce usable coverage. Check signal strength at the installation position and use equipment for the same radio-frequency region.
Use the wiring where radio cannot reach.

Place the module where its hub link is reliable
The module can remain in a suitable radio position while wired zones reach other rooms. A compatible Ajax range extender can also improve its link to the hub.
The 400 m cable limit and open-space radio distance describe different parts of the system. Test both, and keep the module indoors at −10°C to +40°C.
Watch the cabinet and the connected circuits.

Enclosure and line supervision
Two tampers monitor opening of the lid and detachment from the wall. Supported EOL circuits also report wiring faults; the hub supervises the module’s radio link.
Circuit fault detection depends on the selected wiring type. Radio-loss timing depends on polling settings.
Commission every reused zone.

A complete installation check
An installer checks the existing wiring, mounts the enclosure, pairs by QR code and configures each zone. Test every alarm, restoration, tamper, cable fault and mains-failure response before handing over the system.
Follow the mains-power and battery procedures in the exact manual. Indoor enclosure: IP40 and IK06 for the listed model.
