Hood to protect an anti-masking system from rain and snow
A little shelter for outdoor protection.
Hood protects the anti-masking sensors of MotionProtect Outdoor Jeweller from direct rain and snow. It is useful where the detector cannot sit beneath an awning. The cover attaches with the supplied Dual Lock fastener without removing the detector from its mounting panel.

Reduce snow build-up
Snow on the anti-masking sensors can obstruct their view and cause a masking event. Hood shelters the upper sensor area of MotionProtect Outdoor Jeweller when the detector cannot be placed under an awning.
Keep direct rain away
Prolonged heavy rain can disturb the anti-masking sensors. The cover helps shield them while leaving the detector’s sensing area clear.
Hood does not remove the need for correct placement, maintenance and detection tests. It is an accessory for MotionProtect Outdoor Jeweller, not a universal cover for every outdoor detector.
Add the cover without removing the detector.
Reusable Dual Lock fastening
Attach Hood using the included Dual Lock tape while MotionProtect Outdoor remains on its SmartBracket. Follow the manual’s peel, fit, press and refit sequence; the fastener clicks together when engaged.
The supplied set contains Hood and its Dual Lock tape; the detector is separate. Polycarbonate construction is specified for −25 to +60 °C and up to 95% humidity.
