Choose the role for each entrance.

Security and bypass control
Use the keypad to arm, disarm or manage Night Mode for permitted areas. As a bypass keypad, it can start the configured delay before a user operates the main keypad.
Requires a compatible Ajax hub with OS Malevich 2.33 or later. One primary and one secondary function can be configured; switch between them with a long press of OK.
Identify yourself in the way that suits you.

Pass or Tag
Present an authorised DESFire card or key fob, with permissions assigned in the Ajax app.
Access devices are sold separately. A compatible chip does not itself grant access; register and authorise the device.
Manage access without a site visit.

Change permissions remotely
Block a lost access device or change a compromised code in the app. Use individual permissions so the event feed can identify authorised actions.
A deliberate way to ask for help.

The configured function button
Set the function button to panic, muting supported interconnected fire alarms, or no action. In panic mode it sends an alarm to the system.
Agree monitoring and response arrangements separately. The button does not guarantee emergency dispatch.
Battery power, or a wired supply with backup.

Two CR123A batteries
Preinstalled batteries provide up to two years under the stated use conditions. Battery status and early warnings are available in the app.
An optional nominal 12 V DC supply must be within 10.5–14 V DC. Leave the batteries fitted as backup. Operating life depends on use, indication, temperature and radio conditions.
A secure link to your system.
Jeweller communication
Encrypted two-way communication carries commands, alarms and device status between the device and its compatible Ajax hub or assigned range extender.
Up to 1,700 m in open space. Walls, metal and other obstacles reduce usable coverage. Check signal strength at the installation position and use equipment for the same radio-frequency region.
Place the control where people enter.

Reach a gate or another building
A compatible assigned range extender can provide a radio path where the direct link is weak. Test both the reader position and radio signal before fixing the keypad.
The keypad is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Keep a clear 30 cm zone in front of the reader and avoid surrounding it with two side walls.
Access control that also checks itself.

Two removal checks
Two tampers detect removal from the mounting panel or mounting surface. The holding screw secures the keypad.

Automatic lockout
Enable unauthorised-access protection to lock the keypad after repeated invalid codes or unverified access devices within the configured period.
Lock duration is configured in the app. Review the event and access permissions after an unexpected lockout.

IP66 and IK08 enclosure
The housing resists dust, water ingress and physical impact within its specified ratings, with an operating range of −25°C to +60°C.

Connection and device status
The hub supervises the keypad and identifies missing communication or reported faults.
Detection time depends on polling settings. Investigate a warning before relying on that entry control.
Set up for the way the site works.

Connect
Scan the device QR code in the Ajax app, then assign a recognisable name and room. Check compatibility with the hub and any range extender before installation.
Find the right control device.
Compare keypads, key fobs and panic buttons across ranges. See how people arm the system, identify themselves, operate a routine or ask for help.
