Hub Plus.
Wireless control panel. Connectable via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and two SIM cards (2G/3G)

Standards and certifications
Hub Plus Jeweller · HB.P.J. Manufacturer-listed marks; regional and installation conditions apply.
More groups. More ways to stay connected.
Hub Plus Jeweller manages a larger wireless system through Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two SIM cards. Its capacity and group controls suit properties with several areas and users. This is a discontinued model retained for existing-system planning and remaining-stock enquiries; it has no Wings support for MotionCam detectors.

Keep another route for the alarm.

Connection paths
Ethernet, Wi-Fi and two micro-SIM slots provide alternate internet paths. The cellular modem supports 2G/3G, not LTE. Use separate providers where practical; Ethernet and Wi-Fi on the same router still share a failure point.
Switching between Ethernet, Wi-Fi and the active SIM is automatic. A change between the two SIM cards can take up to four minutes; two SIMs do not mean two simultaneous cellular modems.
Size the system around the property.

Devices, users and groups
Plan for up to 150 wireless Ajax devices, 99 users and 25 security groups. Groups let authorised users arm selected areas without changing the state of the whole property.
The device total includes supported sirens and range extenders. The exact specification allows up to 10 sirens or keypads with a built-in siren and 5 range extenders. Check individual device compatibility before adding it; the total capacity does not imply support for every Ajax model.
Start with compatible equipment.
Jeweller devices, without MotionCam
This hub communicates with supported Jeweller detectors, controls and automation devices. It has no Wings radio support, so MotionCam photo-verification detectors cannot be added.
The presence of Ajax cameras in the app does not add MotionCam support to the hub. Video uses separate network and storage equipment. Check the exact device and hub in the current manufacturer compatibility table.
Let devices work together.
Up to 64 scenarios. Available triggers depend on the connected devices and firmware. Plan and test the intended action at commissioning.

Reactions you can plan
Use up to 64 scenarios to coordinate supported automation with alarms, schedules, security modes and supported environmental measurements.
Scenarios run on the hub, including when its cloud connection is lost. The chosen automation device and connected load must support the intended action.
A supervised wireless connection.
Jeweller
Encrypted two-way radio carries commands, alarms and events between the hub and compatible devices. Authentication and frequency hopping help protect communication.
Up to 2,000 m in open space, depending on the connected device. Test at the intended location: building materials, interference and the device’s own limit affect the usable range.
Reach the harder parts of the building.
Coverage, within the same system
Connect up to 5 ReX range extenders. Assign supported devices to improve coverage behind obstacles or across floors.
Hub and Hub Plus do not support ReX 2 or photo verification. An extender does not increase the hub’s device capacity, and extenders cannot be chained through one another.
Keep protection running through a power cut.
Mains and backup battery
The hub uses 110–240 V AC mains power and automatically changes to its rechargeable battery when external power fails. The built-in 2 Ah battery is specified for up to 16 hours when Ethernet and Wi-Fi are disabled.
Runtime depends on battery condition, settings and communication activity. Router, camera and network power must be planned separately.
More standby time, with a different connection pattern.
Battery Power Saver
A PRO can enable the supported battery-saving mode for an installation. When external power fails, the hub can enter standby and temporarily disconnect its external communication channels to conserve the backup battery.
In standby the hub is not continuously connected to Ajax Cloud or the monitoring station. Events wake it to communicate. Review the monitoring requirements and wake-up settings before enabling this mode; it is not the same as continuous online operation.
The system also monitors its own state.
Tamper and communication checks
The tamper reports removal from the mounting panel. Regular exchanges check device communication, and the system reports faults, lost links and detected interference according to its settings.
Device polling is configurable from 12 to 300 seconds. Cloud-loss notification timing is also configurable; a quoted 60 seconds is not guaranteed for every setup. A notification requires an available delivery path.
Manage access, with the right permissions.
Ajax apps and OS Malevich
Authorised users and PROs manage the system, review events and configure equipment through Ajax apps. The hub runs OS Malevich and receives supported software updates.
Hub Plus production ended on 1 March 2024. Ajax states that existing units continue to receive support and updates during their product lifecycle. Confirm supply and compatibility for an existing installation; this is not a promise of every future feature.
Ready for a careful handover.

Connect and add
Connect mains power and the planned internet paths, prepare the SIM cards and add the hub by its QR code in the Ajax app. A working Ajax Cloud connection is needed for app configuration and remote management.
