EN54 Indicator Jeweller brings a fire detector’s alarm into view with a red LED frame. Position it outside a room or near a concealed detector, then link the required detectors through a fire scenario in Ajax apps. The compact indicator provides remote visual indication with supervised wireless communication and replaceable batteries.

Find the alarm beyond the door.
Remote indication where the detector is hidden
The red frame identifies an alarm from a paired fire detector, for example above a suspended ceiling or behind a closed door. It helps people locate the affected area.
This is a remote fire alarm indicator, not a detector or an audible sounder. Keep the separately required alarm devices in the fire-system design.
Choose how the frame signals.
Steady or pulsing indication
Bistable mode keeps the LED frame steadily lit until the fire alarm is reset. Continuous-pulse mode flashes according to the configured pattern.
In pulse mode, On time and Off time are each adjustable from 100 to 1,000 ms. Select the pattern in Ajax apps and verify visibility on site.

A fire scenario is required
Adding the indicator to the control panel is only the first step. Create an EN54 fire scenario, choose the detectors as triggers and EN54 Indicator as a performer.
Without this pairing it does not indicate detector alarms. The pairing uses one scenario from the panel’s limit. A performer belongs to one fire scenario; assigning it to another removes it from the previous one.
A supervised link to the fire panel.
Jeweller, built in
Two-way Jeweller radio carries commands, alarms and device states to the compatible fire panel. Encryption, authentication and frequency hopping protect the link without a separate radio module.
Up to 1,700 m is an open-space figure. Walls and the installation layout reduce usable range. EN54 Fire ReX can extend the route; survey each link at its final position. Alarm delivery and connection-loss timing depend on the system and its settings.

Two pre-installed CR123A batteries
The indicator operates without an external power supply. Ajax lists up to five years with the standard 36-second polling interval; actual service life depends on use and conditions.
Low-battery notifications prompt replacement. Open the battery covers, replace both batteries with the specified type and correct polarity, then run the functional test.
Keep faults visible to the service team.
Battery, connection and mounting status
Ajax apps and the fire panel report low batteries, a device fault, loss of the Jeweller connection and tamper events. The location description helps identify the affected indicator.
Connection-loss detection depends on Jeweller settings. A configured remote indicator does not replace the fire panel’s supervision or the site’s alarm-response procedures.

Add it to the fire panel
Scan the QR code in Ajax apps, assign a room and fire zone, and give the location a useful name. A compatible Ajax CIE with OS Malevich 2.39 or later is required.
Match the regional radio version and configure the detector-pairing scenario after adding the indicator.
