A deliberate way to request urgent help.
DoubleButton Jeweller is a hold-up device with two buttons designed to make alarm activation intentional. It gives staff or other authorised users a dedicated physical way to request assistance. The device works within an Ajax security system, with its placement and alarm response planned for the people using the premises.

Protection in real places.

A hold-up alarm raised deliberately.

Press both buttons together
Two separate stiff buttons and a protective divider reduce accidental activation in a pocket or bag. Pressing only one button does not send the alarm.
DoubleButton is a dedicated hold-up device, active regardless of the system’s arming mode. It has no selectable general automation-control mode.
Add confirmation to the alarm procedure.
Confirmation is an additional event. It does not delay or cancel the initial alarm: DoubleButton alarms are transmitted whether confirmation is enabled or not.

Confirm with one DoubleButton
When hold-up confirmation is configured, press both buttons briefly and then hold both for two seconds, or perform those actions in the reverse order, within the configured confirmation period.
Link an alarm to the right response.

Sirens and alarm-driven scenarios
A DoubleButton alarm can activate configured sirens and trigger compatible automation, such as closing shutters or controlling a connected relay.
These are alarm-driven scenarios. DoubleButton does not offer Button’s separate Control mode. A transmitted alarm is not a guarantee of emergency dispatch.
Portable, with a replaceable battery.

CR2032 battery and an IP55 enclosure
The preinstalled battery supports up to five years at one press per day. The dust- and splash-resistant enclosure is specified for −10°C to +40°C.
Frequency of use and low temperatures affect battery life. Check command feedback and the app’s battery indication during regular tests.
A secure link to your system.
Jeweller communication
Jeweller carries commands, alarms and device status between the control and a compatible Ajax hub or assigned range extender. Encrypted communication and device authentication help protect the exchange.
Up to 1,300 m in open space. Walls and metal reduce usable range; check operation at every intended location. Choose equipment for the same radio-frequency region.
An authenticated alarm with visible feedback.
Command feedback
LED indications show command delivery or failure and warn when the battery needs attention. Learn the confirmation pattern and test the device with the monitoring provider before relying on it.
Protected radio messages
Jeweller uses encryption and device authentication to help prevent spoofed commands. Check real coverage; a portable device still needs a working path to its assigned system.
Ready for everyday use.

Connect
Add the device by its QR code in the Ajax app, then assign a clear name and room. Check hub compatibility and regional radio frequencies before commissioning.
