Two PIR sensors and K-band microwave verification help distinguish an intrusion from thermal interference. Adjustable range, standard and Pet modes, and anti-masking protection let the installation match the site.

Facility-specific

An adjustable curtain up to 12 m

An 8° horizontal field protects a narrow approach along doors, windows or a facade. Set the range using the enclosure slider and matching app settings.

Test the entire intended approach. Avoid passing traffic, vegetation or other objects that should stay outside the protected area.

Choose the mode for the installation.

Without pet immunity

Standard detection

Use Near or Far settings for standard detection at the recommended 2.4 m height.

Pet mode

Mount at 1 m, set the slider to Pet and select Pet immune mode in the app to reduce alarms from animals up to 100 cm tall.

Pet immunity depends on correct orientation, range and sensitivity. It is not supported by every mounting arrangement.

PIR detection

Two PIR sensors detect thermal movement in the curtain-shaped zone.

K-band verification

A 24 GHz microwave scan verifies the PIR trigger, helping filter out disturbances caused by changing heat sources.

Tune the response to the surroundings.

Thermal spot size

SmartDetect analysis

The software checks thermal pattern size, movement and intensity before classifying a trigger.

Temperature compensation

The device adapts thermal analysis across −25°C to +60°C. Choose one of three sensitivity levels in the app and verify detection on site.

Replaceable batteries

Two preinstalled CR123A batteries provide up to three years under the specified conditions. The app reports battery status and low-charge warnings.

IP55 enclosure for indoor or outdoor use, −25°C to +60°C. Activity, placement, polling and radio conditions affect battery life.

A secure link, with remote firmware updates.

Jeweller events and Wings updates

Jeweller carries alarms, device status and configuration. Wings carries firmware updates on this model; it does not add a camera or photo verification.

Up to 1,700 m in open space. When connected through the original ReX, firmware updates are unavailable because it does not support Wings.

Plan the complete communication path

A compatible assigned range extender can connect a detector where the direct hub link is weak. Test the detector-to-extender path and the extender-to-hub path at their installed positions.

A range extender increases coverage, not the hub’s total device capacity. Ethernet on a supported extender is its connection to the hub; the detector itself stays wireless.

Keep the view and mounting under supervision.

The detector reports attempts to block its view, including the masking methods listed in the manual.

Check anti-masking after installation. Fit the hood to protect the masking sensors from precipitation.

An enabled accelerometer reports attempts to shift the mounted device.

Enable and test it when using the relevant alternate mount.

Tamper alarm

Removal and communication alerts

The tamper monitors the mounting panel; the hub also checks connection and device state.

Connection-loss detection depends on polling settings.

Scan the device QR code in the Ajax app, then assign a recognisable name and room. Check compatibility with the hub and any range extender before installation.

Position and secure

Use SmartBracket, the supplied angle mount or a permitted third-party mount. Set the correct height, slider and app mode; fit the hood and secure the holding screw.

Configure and test

Set the intended functions, test radio communication and check the response to alarms and maintenance events. Explain the configured behaviour to the people using the system.

Check radio strength, the entire detection zone, masking and tamper response. Keep the likely intrusion path crossing the lens axis.

Eligibility, availability and service terms are confirmed with your quote.

  1. Included installation. Applies to eligible wireless equipment purchases with an agreed total from €6,000 including VAT. The proposal confirms the installation scope and local coverage. Configuration, agreed wireless installation, oversight, tests and training are included. Electrical and plumbing work and monitoring subscriptions are separate. G3 and Superior wireless S-line products do not count towards the €6,000 eligible equipment budget and are not covered by the included-installation offer. Their installation is quoted separately. Fibra and cabling are also quoted separately. Only eligible battery-powered wireless devices, ordinary hubs, ReX and wireless kits contribute. Devices requiring additional power or wired connections (including Relay, WallSwitch, LightSwitch, Socket, Outlet, FireProtect 2 AC and integration modules), WaterStop, Hub BP, video and EN54/Type4 equipment do not count. Accessories, delivery and Care fees do not count either. Hub and ReX connection to an existing socket is included; new power supplies, cabling, electrical and plumbing work are arranged separately. Included installation is available at one property in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia and includes preparation and the visit. Below €6,000 of eligible equipment, it is a paid option at checkout. Your basket shows the complete service price, including VAT; scope and the visit date are agreed before installation.
  2. Free EU delivery. Free equipment delivery within the EU. Stock, dispatch and destination service are confirmed before accepting your order. Where a three-business-day delivery service is confirmed, it runs from dispatch. Split shipments and made-to-order products may follow separate agreed schedules. Delivery agreed as free does not acquire an undisclosed surcharge. Installation is scheduled separately.
  3. Payments, finance and leasing. Monthly payments and leasing with an upgrade option require a separate agreement, subject to finance-provider approval, credit eligibility and country availability. The provider, deposit, APR, fees, total payable, duration, ownership and return or upgrade conditions are explained before any agreement. An enquiry or saved preference does not activate credit.
  4. Personal setup. One scheduled remote first-setup session for eligible equipment purchased from SAFE365. Equipment must be ready for configuration. Session scope, language and availability are confirmed when booked; physical installation and cabling are separate unless included in your project.
  5. Care 24. Included remote support and agreed remote maintenance for the first 24 months for eligible SAFE365 purchases. The start date, support hours, access permissions and covered tasks are confirmed with your order. On-site work, 24/7 alarm monitoring and extended hardware cover are not included unless separately agreed. Statutory rights and the manufacturer's applicable warranty are unaffected.
  6. Local installation. Partner coverage varies by country and postcode. A named partner, the work scope, responsibility and price are confirmed in writing before commitment. Local installation is included only for an eligible agreed package; otherwise it is quoted separately.
  7. Included system preparation. Preparation is included from €3,000 of eligible equipment, including VAT after discounts. The order must include an eligible hub. We configure, label and check the marked wireless devices and provide individual instructions. Below the threshold, preparation is a paid option at checkout; your basket calculates the price. The same equipment eligibility rules as for included installation apply. Service charges do not count towards either threshold.
