Product safety & responsible use
Use the exact product information and keep safety concerns easy to report.
Before selecting a product
Check the exact model, region, required controller, power supply, installation environment and official instructions. A CE mark or EN54 component label alone does not establish that a complete installation meets every local building or fire-safety requirement.
If equipment may be unsafe
Stop using visibly damaged or apparently unsafe equipment when safe to do so, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and contact us with the model and issue. Do not dismantle mains-powered equipment yourself. For immediate danger, use local emergency services; website support is not an emergency-response service.
If a safety notice or recall affects supplied equipment, the responsible business must explain the affected models and the appropriate remedy. Contacting support does not replace the manufacturer’s recall instructions.
Software and connected products
Follow relevant security and compatibility updates and use supported apps and firmware. Update obligations, supported periods where stated, and material service dependencies must be provided for the exact product. We do not promise indefinite cloud or software availability without an agreed basis.
Cameras and access-control equipment can process other people’s data. The property operator must consider applicable privacy, signage, access and retention requirements for its own use.
