For an existing Ajax system
Extend your existing Ajax system.
Add protection for more rooms, a video doorbell, leak detection or smart controls. Start with your exact Ajax hub model, keep compatible equipment and compare the additions you need in the configurator.
Three facts create a useful starting point.
You do not need to rebuild the whole system description before you begin. Unknown details remain marked for review.
- 01
Identify the hub.
Find the exact hub model in the Ajax app under Devices → hub. Add the firmware version if you know it.
- 02
Choose what should change.
Select the new protection, video, safety or automation result you want instead of starting from a product list.
- 03
Verify the connection before buying.
The plan separates compatible additions from equipment or installation details that still need a specialist check.
Add one need or bring several into one project.
Each path starts from the same existing-system facts. You can compare the missing equipment together before deciding what to buy.
Intrusion protection
Add openings, rooms, outdoor areas, sirens or alarm photo verification around the system you use today.
Video and entrances
Plan cameras, a doorbell, recording and network equipment without assuming that every video device needs an alarm hub.
Fire and water safety
Add detection or leak protection while keeping regulated fire design and automatic water shutoff as separately verified scopes.
Automation and indoor air
Plan compatible switches, outlets, relays and air-quality monitoring around the actual hub and installation.
What the online plan confirms — and what it does not.
The plan can record
- your declared hub and existing-system status
- the outcomes and areas you want to add
- equipment candidates and the reasons they appear
- questions that must be checked before confirmation
It does not automatically confirm
- radio, regional or firmware compatibility
- Fibra wiring, power, coverage or installation conditions
- current stock or a delivery date
- monitoring, dispatch or regulated fire-system approval
Questions about extending an Ajax system.
Can I keep my current hub?
Often, yes. The exact hub, radio region, firmware and selected devices must be compatible. If the model is unknown, the plan keeps that decision open instead of adding another hub automatically.
Do I need to list every device I already own?
Start with the hub and the equipment that affects the new scope. You can add known devices as the plan develops; missing details stay visible for review.
Can Baseline, Superior and Fibra equipment be mixed?
Only where the exact models and installation support it. Fibra devices need a compatible hybrid hub and wired design. A mixed shopping list is not a compatibility guarantee.
Will the configurator approve compatibility?
No. It creates a structured proposal and identifies checks. Compatibility is confirmed only from the exact equipment and installation facts.
How much does it cost to extend an Ajax system?
The price depends on the devices you add and any power, network or mounting accessories they need. Plan around compatible equipment you already own and compare the priced additions in the configurator. Preparation and installation costs are calculated or quoted separately for the selected scope. Confirm any work needed on the existing system before ordering.
Begin with the system that is already installed.
Choose the outcomes you want, name the hub when asked and compare the additions in one project.
