One button. Choose what it does.
Superior Button Jeweller can send a selected alarm, control connected automation or hush supported fire alarms. It operates in one configured mode at a time. Its portable enclosure, optional surface holder and LED feedback make the same compact device useful at a desk, beside an entrance or carried by its user.

Protection in real places.

Three possible jobs. One active mode.

Send a chosen alarm
Select one alarm type for the button: intrusion, fire, auxiliary, panic, gas, malfunction, leakage or custom. In Panic mode it operates regardless of the armed state. A custom alarm is sent to users, not the monitoring station.
The selected event describes the button press. Button does not detect smoke, gas or water by itself.
Give short and long presses useful actions.

Lighting from one button
For example, set a short press to switch connected desk lamps on and a long press to switch them off. The lamps need a compatible Ajax automation device; Button does not switch mains power directly.
Reduce accidental alarm presses.

Recessed button and deliberate presses
The enclosure helps protect the button while it is carried. In Panic and Mute Fire Alarm modes, choose a long press over 1.5 seconds or a double press within 0.5 seconds. Control mode uses its own short and long scenario actions.
Carry it with you. Or keep it in reach.

Portable use
Carry the button on a wrist, lanyard or key ring. Its IP55 enclosure is specified for −10 to +40 °C. Check radio reception along the actual route and choose a position where the controls remain accessible.
A secure link to the system.
Jeweller
Two-way radio carries commands and alarms over an open-space range of up to 1,300 m. Encryption and device authentication protect the exchange. Buildings and interference reduce usable range; check the exact hub and reception at the intended locations.
Requires a compatible hub with OS Malevich 2.16 or later. The radio region must match the installed system.
Reach places beyond the direct radio path.

Plan the extender position
A compatible ReX or ReX 2 can connect the button where direct hub reception is weak. ReX 2 can also use Ethernet to the hub. Check the permitted extender count and test the actual route through the building.
A replaceable battery for everyday readiness.

CR2032 battery, up to five years
The pre-installed CR2032 cell is replaceable. Actual life depends on use, radio conditions and temperature. Check low-battery notifications and replace the cell using the exact manual, then test command delivery.
Check status without pressing the button.
Optional daily battery check
Enable Battery charge auto-check to refresh the battery state once a day. With this option disabled, the battery state updates when the device is pressed. Check the setting during handover.
A separate unreachable-device warning
With auto-check enabled, the app can notify users if the device has not communicated with the hub for three days. Enable that notification if required; daily supervision is not an immediate missing-device alarm.
Enable supervision on supported firmware.
OS Malevich 2.17 or later
The device can operate from OS Malevich 2.16, but Battery charge auto-check requires OS Malevich 2.17 or later. Confirm the installed version and enable the required supervision options in the app.
Pair it. Configure it. Test the real route.

Add the exact device
Scan its QR code in an Ajax app, follow the pairing procedure and assign the device to the correct room. Confirm the exact hub, regional radio version and required firmware before setup.
