ocBridge Plus connects selected Ajax wireless detectors to a third-party wired or hybrid alarm panel. It converts their events into eight alarm and four service outputs, while the panel retains alarm handling. PC configuration, an exact detector list and correct armed-state wiring are part of the installation.

Connect Ajax detectors to a different control system.
Wireless detectors to wired zones
ocBridge Plus translates supported Ajax detector events into transistor-output changes that a wired or hybrid alarm panel can process. The panel then applies its own alarm and reporting rules.
This is a receiver for a third-party controller. It is not an Ajax hub and does not bring third-party wired detectors into an Ajax app.

Eight alarm zones and four service zones
Use the eight alarm outputs and four service outputs with the host panel’s supported NO/NC, EOL or 2EOL wiring. Zone modes can be configured for pulse or bistable operation. Wire the IN input to the panel’s armed/disarmed state as the manual requires.
Up to 99 devices requires a polling interval of 36 seconds or more; the manual limits capacity to 79 at 24 seconds and 39 at 12 seconds. Keep 24-hour and normally armed sensors in separate zones.

An exact compatibility list
These receivers support the listed legacy Ajax devices. A product sharing the Jeweller name, enclosure or family name is not automatically compatible.

They do not connect to an Ajax hub and do not provide Wings photo verification. Use the exact supported generation; FireProtect 2, MotionCam, Pass and Tag are not in this receiver list.
Check the actual radio link
The specified maximum distance is 2,000 m in open space. Walls, metal, enclosure placement and the detector model affect the usable link. Test radio strength and detection at the installation site.
Two-way Jeweller communication includes encryption, authentication and jamming detection. Choose the correct regional radio version and implement alarm, fault and lost-device handling in the receiving system.
Commission the module with its host.
Configure and test from a PC
Power normal operation from 8–14 V DC. The 5 V miniUSB connection is for setup only. Use Ajax ocBridge Plus Configurator on a supported PC to register devices, assign zones, save the configuration and run radio and detection tests.
Check the current receiver firmware and detector compatibility before adding devices. Verify every alarm, tamper, battery, lost-device and jamming signal at the panel before handover.
