Check the approach with a photograph.
MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller detects movement around the property and provides photographs to help explain an alarm. Authorised users can also request images or use supported photo scenarios. Outdoor detection, anti-masking protection and controlled photo access bring the approach to the building into the same Ajax security system.

These are event-based still photographs. Continuous live video requires a surveillance camera.

On alarm
Detected movement can trigger a series of photographs alongside the alarm event, helping you assess the situation before deciding how to respond.
First-photo delivery from 9 seconds applies at the default 320 × 240 resolution under the manufacturer’s connection conditions.
A clearer view of the event.

Camera and infrared illumination
The detector can send one to five images in a series. Infrared illumination supports photos in low light, and supported HDR processing improves detail in difficult lighting.
Available image processing and photo modes depend on the detector revision, firmware and compatible system. Confirm them for the exact supplied version.
Your photos. Your permissions.

Control access
The Privacy settings determine who can request and view photographs and when requests are allowed.

Requests leave a record
The event history identifies the request, the device and the user. This makes access to visual information visible to the people managing the system.

Protected photo transfer
Photos are encrypted during transmission and storage. Access remains subject to the system’s permissions.
Separate movement from outdoor interference.

Two PIR sensors
LISA compares signals from two independent PIR sensors. When both see movement, their waveforms help distinguish an intrusion from environmental interference.
Designed for exposed locations.

Enclosure and hood
The IP56 enclosure supports outdoor use from −25 °C to +60 °C. The supplied hood helps shield the masking sensors from rain and snow.
Keep the view clear, check signal and detection at the final position, and follow the exact manual’s installation restrictions.
Power for everyday protection.

Replaceable battery power
Replaceable preinstalled CR123A batteries support up to three years of operation. Photo use and operating conditions affect the interval between replacements.
Battery life depends on settings, use, temperature and signal conditions. Respond to the app’s low-battery notification.
A secure link to your system.
Jeweller and Wings communication
Jeweller carries events and status while Wings carries photographs. Both radio paths need a compatible hub or photo-capable range extender.
The stated range is up to 1,700 m in open space. Walls, metal and the actual installation reduce usable coverage.
Reach the areas your system needs.

Plan around walls and distance
Test the signal where the detector will be installed. If coverage is insufficient, select a compatible range extender; an Ethernet-equipped model provides another route back to the hub.
Range extenders are optional equipment. Supported models and quantities depend on the exact hub; photo verification additionally requires a photo-capable extender.
Know that protection is working.

Device state in the app
The detector reports its condition to the hub. Communication, power and tamper information help identify a device that needs attention. Clear device and room names make an alert easier to act on.
Professional alarm monitoring is a separate service. Notification and connection-loss timing depend on system settings and connectivity.
Protection that also watches itself.

Removal alerts
The tamper reports attempts to remove the detector from its mounting panel. Secure the mounting arrangement and check that the event reaches the intended users.

Authenticated communication
The hub checks the detector’s identity during communication. Encryption protects the exchanged data, while authentication helps reject a device attempting to impersonate it.

Detect an obstructed view
The anti-masking system reports attempts to cover the detector or obstruct its view. Keep the masking sensors clear and fit the supplied hood as instructed.
Installed for your actual space.

Connect
Scan the device QR code to add it to a compatible hub. Assign a clear name and the room or area where it will operate.
