- North American [120] wall system: 120 V, 60 Hz. Uses its own cores, fronts and frames. It cannot be combined with European [55] parts. Touch control works without a hub; app control needs a compatible regional Ajax hub.

It keeps a familiar control point in the room while supporting configured automation for daily routines. The electrical version, relay and front panel are selected together for the installation and the chosen finish.

Choose the right electrical function.
Control one lighting circuit from this wall position, with contactless operation, app control and configurable scenarios.
- 120 V, 60 Hz; no neutral wire is required at the switch.
- Maximum load: 500 W incandescent or 250 W LED; maximum current 4.2 A.
- This mechanism switches one circuit from one location. Select a 3-way end mechanism or 4-way intermediate mechanism when the wiring requires control from multiple locations.
Current and temperature protection disconnect the load and notify the app when triggered. For LED loads below approximately 20 W, follow the manual’s instructions for the supplied capacitor. Compact fluorescent lamps are not recommended in the manual; smart lamps and lamps with built-in controllers are unsupported.

Control the connected lights in the app.
See the light state and operate it from the Ajax app. Local touch control also works without a hub; app control and automation require a compatible hub and a working system connection.
Choose when touch control is available.
Enable childproofing in the app to disable local touch operation. App commands and configured scenarios remain available.
Switch off after the time you choose.
Set an automatic switch-off timer for lights that should not stay on indefinitely. The selected interval is configured in the Ajax app.
Let one action start a routine.
Use the switch as a trigger for other compatible Ajax automation devices. Each controlled load needs its own suitable actuator; a lighting output is not a direct curtain or blind motor controller.
Lighting that follows your routines.
Scenarios run through a compatible Ajax hub. Temperature, humidity and CO₂ triggers also need the appropriate sensor; humidity and CO₂ scenarios require LifeQuality.
Make a home look occupied.
Schedule connected lights to turn on and off while you are away. Choose the rooms and times in the Ajax app, then check the routine at the property.

Jeweller for events. Wings for updates.
Jeweller carries commands and events; Wings delivers firmware updates to this switch. Both have a specified range of up to 1,100 m in open space with a compatible hub or range extender.
Choose a compatible regional hub and radio version. Walls, metal and the mounting position affect coverage; test both Jeweller and Wings signal strength after installation. Loss-detection timing depends on the configured polling settings.

Plan the radio path through the building.
A compatible range extender can connect a switch where the hub’s direct radio signal is insufficient. ReX 2 can use Ethernet as an alternative connection to the hub. Choose a supported combination and test it at the installed position.
Hub capacity, regional radio version and the required protocols determine the supported setup. On models with Wings, verify the firmware-update path as well as event communication.

Match the circuit and the wall box.
A qualified electrician should isolate the mains and fit the matching [120] core, panel and frame using the exact model’s wiring diagram. The standard North American form factor is different from the European [55] range.
Indoor use only: −10 to +40 °C, up to 75% relative humidity without condensation, IP20. Check the actual lamp type and connected load.
