Plan the battery around the site.

Internal and external power
Hub BP uses internal or external DC sources instead of a built-in mains supply. Both power inputs are specified for 4.2–16 V DC, up to 2 A. Batteries and any external power equipment are purchased separately.
Use an approved battery type and the correct connector, polarity and settings. Lead-acid charging from an external source is configurable only for the supported battery setting; do not assume every rechargeable or non-rechargeable pack can be charged in the hub.
Save power with a planned wake-up schedule.
Battery Power Saver
A PRO can enable saving mode separately for the internal and external source, then set the active period and server polling interval. The hub communicates on its wake-up schedule and when the configured events require it.
Saving mode changes when remote controls and updates are available; it is not continuous online access. Supported SMS wake-up requires OS Malevich 2.30 or later. Firmware updates while saving require OS Malevich 2.39 or later. Review event retry limits and wake-up settings before leaving a remote site unattended.
Two SIM slots for a cellular connection.

2G, 3G and LTE
Both versions use two micro-SIM slots for cellular internet. Separate operators can provide an alternative if the active provider is unavailable. This hub has no Ethernet or Wi-Fi interface.
The exact technical specification allows up to four minutes to switch SIM cards. Two SIM slots do not mean two simultaneous cellular modems. Check data service and signal at the installation position.
Plan devices, people and areas together.

100 devices, 50 users, 9 groups
Both enclosure versions support up to 100 Ajax devices, 50 users, 9 security groups and 50 rooms. Groups allow authorised users to control different parts of the property.
The total includes up to 5 compatible range extenders and up to 10 sirens. Extenders need their own suitable power supply at an off-grid site and do not increase the hub’s device limit.
Separate radio links for alarms and photos.
Jeweller and Wings
Jeweller carries alarms, events and commands; Wings carries photo data from compatible detectors. Both use encrypted two-way communication and supervised delivery.
Both exact technical tables specify up to 2,000 m in open space, depending on the connected device. Walls, metal, interference and the device’s own limit affect the usable range.
Move the antenna to a better signal position.

Three communication channels
Separate ExternalAntenna connections serve cellular, Jeweller and Wings communication. The 3 m cable allows the antenna to be positioned away from a difficult hub location.
ExternalAntenna is sold separately. Test each needed channel and keep antenna-state supervision enabled; the manual requires the enclosure to be properly closed for breakage detection.
See what caused the alarm.

A photo series from the detector
Compatible MotionCam detectors provide alarm photographs. Supported PhOD detectors can add photos on demand, by scenario or by schedule with the required settings and permissions.
The 9-second source example uses default 320 × 240 resolution. Actual delivery depends on the detector, signal, communication path and power-saving state. Cameras and NVRs have their own power, network and recording requirements.
Make protection respond to the situation.
Up to 32 scenarios
Use supported alarms, schedules, security modes, environmental measurements or button actions to control compatible equipment. A planned scenario can operate lighting, a valve or an appropriate relay.
Every actuator and controlled load needs its own power and installation design. On a battery-powered site, include those loads and the saving-mode behaviour in the project.
Supervise the enclosure and its connections.
Tamper and device identity
The cased model supervises opening and removal. The board version connects to its Case tamper board. Device authentication and encrypted communication protect the system against substitution.
Test the tamper at the finished installation. Connection-loss and jamming alerts depend on configured supervision and an available communication path.
Control the system from one interface.

Permissions follow the person
Use Ajax apps to arm permitted groups, review events and manage supported settings. Administrator and PRO permissions define who can configure equipment; photo access is managed separately where supported.
Remote app access needs the hub’s connection to Ajax Cloud. Cameras use their own network and recording arrangement: the hub is not an NVR and does not store a continuous video archive.
Prepare the site before leaving it unattended.

Connect and identify
Fit the selected internal or external source, prepare the SIM service and add the hub through its QR code in an Ajax app.
