HomeSiren Jeweller adds an audible alarm and LED feedback to rooms inside the property. Configure alarm volume, entry and exit beeps, and a door-opening chime for everyday use. Two replaceable batteries power the siren, while the same Ajax app shows its settings and status.

An alarm that can be heard indoors.
Set the right alarm level
Choose 80, 93 or 100 dB at 1 m for HomeSiren. Configure which detector events should activate it, so the sound matches the intended alarm response.
The normal alarm duration is 3 seconds to 3 minutes. The 15-minute option is limited to the specified NA revision with firmware 5.60.4.14 or later; it is not a general European-model promise.

Entry and exit delays
Optional beeps make a configured entry or exit delay audible, helping people understand when they need to disarm or leave.
See that an alarm happened.
After-alarm indication
When enabled, the LED continues to indicate a past alarm until the system is disarmed. An optional wired LED can mirror the built-in indicator.
Check the configured indication before entering; the LED does not explain the cause of an alarm. Review the event feed in the Ajax app.
Battery power without a supply cable.
Two replaceable CR123A batteries
Preinstalled batteries provide up to five years under the stated use conditions. The app reports battery status so replacement can be planned.
For indoor use only: −10°C to +40°C, IP50. Mount at least 2.5 m high where practical, following the manual. The LED connector does not power the siren.
A secure link to your system.
Jeweller communication
Encrypted two-way communication carries commands, alarms and device status between the device and its compatible Ajax hub or assigned range extender.
Up to 2,000 m in open space. Walls, metal and other obstacles reduce usable coverage. Check signal strength at the installation position and use equipment for the same radio-frequency region.

Use a compatible range extender
An assigned range extender can connect the siren in an area where the direct hub link is weak. Check the path to the extender and from the extender to the hub.
A range extender increases coverage, not the hub’s device limit. Select the model and placement for the actual site.
Protection that also watches itself.
Removal alerts
The tamper reports attempts to detach the siren from its mount or surface. Secure the mounting points before testing.
Connection and device status
Regular communication lets the hub identify a lost connection or device fault. Notifications name the affected device and room.
Detection time depends on the polling settings. The siren does not connect independently to a monitoring station.
Authenticated messages
Device authentication and encryption help prevent an unregistered device from imitating the siren or its commands.
