DualCurtain Outdoor Jeweller watches in two opposite directions, creating narrow detection zones along a facade or perimeter. Each side can be adjusted to the area it needs to cover. This helps protect approaches to windows and entrances while keeping detection focused on the boundary around the building.

A perimeter watched in both directions.
Protect the boundary, keep the inside usable
Two narrow detection zones run away from the enclosure in opposite directions. They can guard windows, gates or a facade while leaving space outside those zones free for normal movement.
Each side adjusts from 4 to 15 m, giving up to 30 m combined coverage. Confirm both routes with detection-zone tests.
Two sensors verify movement on each side.
ELSA signal analysis
The ELSA algorithm analyses both infrared sensors in the same optical system. An alarm requires them to detect a matching human movement pattern.
Cover the route close to the detector.
Near-area detection
An additional sector points 40° downwards to reduce the blind spot close to the enclosure. Enable it separately on the relevant side when protecting a suitable window or passage.
Set each side for its own boundary.
Detection distance
Adjust each side’s range using the rear controls. Keep the zone away from moving vegetation or a public path that does not belong inside the protected perimeter.
A monitored view and mounting point.
Anti-masking, tamper and connection checks
Masking sensors detect covering, paint or obstacles near the optics. The tamper reports removal, while regular hub communication helps reveal a disconnected detector.
Allow masking sensors to calibrate with the detection area clear, then test both sides. Lost-connection timing depends on polling settings.
Long-term operation at the boundary.
Two replaceable CR123A batteries
The preinstalled batteries support up to four years under the manufacturer’s stated conditions. Battery state and low-battery notifications are available in the app.
The enclosure is rated IP54 for operation from −25°C to +60°C. Battery life varies with use, settings and the environment.

Jeweller provides two-way radio communication with a compatible Ajax hub or range extender. Encryption and device authentication help protect the exchange of alarms, commands and status.

For your installation
- Confirm the supported control panel, device software and regional radio version; test coverage at the final installation position.
- The detector is installed at a height of 0.8–1.3 meters from ground level when used to protect doors, arches, other passages, or the area in front of windows. Otherwise, if the detector is used to protect windows, it is installed at a height of 0.5–0.6 meters from the window sill.
