CableTrunk connects surface cable trunking to FireProtect 2 AC without hiding the power cable inside the ceiling. It supports SmartBracket, guides the wires to the detector and keeps the installation slim, with a choice of orientation for visible status LEDs.

Made for the mains-powered detector
CableTrunk brings a surface cable route to any FireProtect 2 AC fire detector. It fits between the ceiling and SmartBracket, adding just 9.5 mm to the installed height. Standard 16 × 16 mm and 40 × 16 mm trunking can meet the accessory at the side.
The fire detector and cable trunking are separate items. CableTrunk is a mounting accessory, not a sensor or a power supply. This fit is specified for FireProtect 2 AC, not the RB or SB versions.
A clear route from cable to detector.
Support, secure, then align
CableTrunk fixes to the ceiling at two points. Its latches hold SmartBracket while the installer routes the supply cable to the detector’s WAGO 221 connectors, then screws secure the mounting panel. The final detector position can be selected so its LEDs remain visible from the room.
The manual recommends at least 15 cm of free cable. SmartBracket has two fixing positions in CableTrunk; together with the detector orientation, these give LED positions at 0°, 90°, 180° or 270° to the trunking. Isolate the mains supply before work and follow the exact FireProtect 2 AC installation manual.

The polycarbonate body measures 144.7 × 89.3 × 18 mm and weighs 33 g. Its 18 mm body dimension is different from the 9.5 mm added installation height. Choose black or white to match the detector.
CableTrunk is specified for −25 to +60 °C and up to 80% humidity. The location must also meet the detector’s own installation limits. The installation kit and quick start guide are included; the accessory itself requires no maintenance.
